Katie&Jeff

We feel so lucky to have photographed Katie and Jeff. Katie does some beautiful photography as well and it’s always a compliment to have someone as talented as she is, ask us to take her engagements. To sum it up…we took some pictures…we laughed…we hiked…it was beautiful.:)Thanks Katie and Jeff!!

Derek + Sonora

This beautiful couple is already married…and I’m just getting around to posting their pictures.:)Derek is my nephew and we were so happy that he wanted us to take their engagements and wedding pictures. We had such a great time with them… our sides hurt from laughing so much. Derek, you and Sonora are perfect together and we are so happy you chose her…she’s pretty much the coolest.:)

bummer, no comments, this post is ROCKIN!

Rex

Rex is my nephew. He was visiting from Maryland and I was lucky enough to take his Senior pictures. We had such a fun time even though it was freezing cold…for me…probably not for him.:) Rex is super talented on the guitar. I think that was my favorite part of the shoot..just listening to him.  I’m so excited for Rex and his future plans. He is going to serve a mission for his church for two years in Rome, Italy. Super cool for him- and the people of Rome who will get to know him. Thanks Rex for such a fun time!! Hope you love your pictures!:)

This was the first series of the shoot. I like to take a few minutes with my clients in the beginning and start with a basic pose. It helps to loosen them up and helps me know what they are like in front of the camera. I told Rex that we were just going to warm up with a simple pose and before I could tell him how to stand he just started breakdancing! I knew it was going to be an easy and fun shoot.:)

Ugly sweater contest…he won. haha:)
