Rex

Rex is my nephew. He was visiting from Maryland and I was lucky enough to take his Senior pictures. We had such a fun time even though it was freezing cold…for me…probably not for him.:) Rex is super talented on the guitar. I think that was my favorite part of the shoot..just listening to him.  I’m so excited for Rex and his future plans. He is going to serve a mission for his church for two years in Rome, Italy. Super cool for him- and the people of Rome who will get to know him. Thanks Rex for such a fun time!! Hope you love your pictures!:)

This was the first series of the shoot. I like to take a few minutes with my clients in the beginning and start with a basic pose. It helps to loosen them up and helps me know what they are like in front of the camera. I told Rex that we were just going to warm up with a simple pose and before I could tell him how to stand he just started breakdancing! I knew it was going to be an easy and fun shoot.:)

Ugly sweater contest…he won. haha:)

Kelsey+Andy

We were so excited when Kelsey contacted us to shoot their engagement session last month. It was kinda neat that she is a best friend to one of our brides Kaitlin that we photographed in Georgia. Luckily Dan and I ended up back in AZ just in time to photograph this beautiful couple.:)We met them halfway in the Superior Mountains and had the most beautiful scenery to work with. Thanks Kelsey and Andy for such a fun session!

Wood Family

Meet the Wood Family! I had so much fun on my trip to Salt Lake City last month but the highlight was getting to photograph this sweet family. These kids were loads of fun and so easy to work with. I had a blast taking their pictures and also editing them. It was so hard to narrow down my favorites to put on the blog. Here’s just a few.:)Thanks Anne and Cam for having me take your pictures. Hope you love them! Enjoy!!

Zo and Analyse…Seniors!

I’m combining posts here of two really rad kids. Zo is my nephew. He’s such a likable guy, is kind, and really funny.:)I’m so glad he is in our family. Analyse is a friend of my niece Callie, but she might as well be my niece too…we like her a lot!:)We had such a great time photographing these two and we hope they love their pictures as much as we do. Thanks guys for letting us shoot you with our cameras.:)

Clara

Of all the days it chose to rain here in AZ, it happened to be when we scheduled our first shoot with Clara.:)We unsuccessfully tried to run out the storm, but then decided to shoot for another day. I was so glad I got to photograph Clara. She is that kind of person that people just want to be around. Anyone that knows Clara, loves her.:)She absolutely emulates kindness and I can see her being a great leader and example to others throughout her life. I have watched her grow up to become a beautiful young woman and I admire her family so much. Thanks Clara (and Melanie) for letting me take your Senior Pictures.
