Henderson Family

We had such a great time photographing the Henderson family! Such sweet and cooperative kids. We love it when we book clients that make our jobs so easy! Taking their pictures didn’t feel like work in the least. Thank you so much Henderson family for a great evening!  Hope you love your pictures!!:)

These kiddos were so funny and animated!!:)Love it!

Weiner Family

I hope these pictures make your cheeks hurt from smiling as much as they have mine! I know we say this all the time but we really do love our clients…and we feel lucky to have some of the raddest out there.:)Alison contacted us to take their family portraits and when she told me the ages of her little boys I made sure Dan and I were totally pumped up for the shoot…with all our tricks ready for getting those smiles. We didn’t have to try hard at all! these kiddos were so smiley and we left the session feeling like we got tons of great images…hence the picture overload. (I just couldn’t narrow it down) haha.:)We hope you all love these pictures as much as we do. This family is super rad and I absolutely loved getting to know each of them…especially the sweet little guys. You know me…I’m a sucker for bright eyes and mushy cheeks!!

Sometimes we take breaks and watch cartoons.:)

Mike+Lyndel

Mike and Lyndel are so rad. They’ve been married for a few years and wanted some updated photos of their awesome faces. We were happy to help them with that!:)There’s something about working with a couple that really loves and knows each other. It’s a way more relaxed shoot and definitely makes our job a lot easier.:)Thanks Mike and Lyndel for a great time! Hope you love your pictures…because we do! Dan told me, “These are so awesome! Do you think they would be weirded out if we hung some on our walls? Haha!

Mike is an awesome DJ and we can’t wait to tag along to some of his events.:)

Mother’s Day!!!

I know it’s a few weeks away but now is the time to start thinking about what you are going to get your mom, wife, grandma….etc. What about a photo session with yellowskinny? Mom and Grandma would LOVE an 8X10 of her beautiful grandkids. It doesn’t have be done before mother’s day, but a paid for photo shoot would for sure be something she would appreciate and look forward to. Gift certificates are now available! Become a facebook fan and receive a free 8X10, refer a friend and get 3! Contact us for more information.:)

An updated family picture is usually my request but it’s so hard for us to get our own taken. So for now, we will just have to settle with taking turns doing group shots.

Me and my girls.

I’m sensing a little favoritism here. They were so much better for Dan when he was taking the picture. Why?!:)

Gracie…7

It just doesn’t seem right that my sweet little Gracie is 7. Kinda makes me sad to see her growing up so fast. I wanted to capture every possible angle/detail/expression with this shoot. Even down to her half painted toenails.:)I guess I feel desperate to keep my little girl…little.

This past year Gracie has continued to keep us laughing with her randomness and funny questions. She’s taking ballet and doesn’t ever stop dancing…she is such a natural. Her artistic flair is still going strong and it’s evident by the shreds of paper, craft supplies and glitter scattered throughout my house. She still wants me to tuck her in at night and she believes, without a doubt, that mermaids exist. For now, I’m not going to argue. She still believes Dan when he tells her that I used to be a princess and he rescued me from a tower. The other day she asked me, “Mom, if you are a princess, why do the birds outside not come around you when you sing?” She cracks me up.:)We love you Gracie Irene!

She lost her first tooth on the day we did this shoot! She’s been dying to lose some teeth since she was 5. I think it has something to do with the tooth fairy leaving money under her pillow.:)
